Encouragement For Leaders

The message today is one of encouragement, direction and strength to those in leadership.

Take note that even though your title may not annouce “leadership”, we all are leaders in some manner. We are governors of the purpose that we were created to fulfill.

It is important that we are able to assess our atmosphere and realize when a change is needed. We are investments in the lives of others and monitoring our input and output is necessary to ensure that we maximize the return.

My investment to you today is hope. Keep your hope burning with the passion you have in your purpose. Let this passion burn so deep within that it does not matter how you get to your destiny; just that you get there!

If you have faith you have hope and if you have hope you have everything” – Author Unknown

Defined By Choice

What is the freedom to choose? Does it mean that one can do whatever they desire, whenever they desire? To choose implies that one selects the more appropriate of more than one course of action. Freedom suggests that there is no restraint. In a day’s course of time, we make several choices. Things like deciding what clothes to wear, what food to eat and what items to prioritize. We decide on taking the stairs versus using the elevator. These are just a few items involved in our daily choices. The choices we make, aware or unaware, provides definition to our lives. The choices we make lay the foundation of our values and culture. It is a definition of where we came from and a shaping tool of our destiny.

This message today is to encourage you to become more aware of the choices made throughout your day. Take a look at your life and make sure your decisions are leading you to your destiny. The circumstance/conditions in your life are not permanent, they did not come to stay. They came to provide growth and maturity to your total being as you fulfill your purpose. Make sure your choices are not being predicated upon situations in your life. Remember, the situations are temporal. Use wisdom in making decisions.

We are not animals. We are not a product of what has happened to us in our past. We have the power of choice. – Stephen Covey
